NEWblog: An introduction!

Let me introduce myself. I’m Cynthia from NEWb Exposure, and I am going to write a blog every week. This blog is about all the fun stuff in and around NEWb. So if you want to keep up with everything that happens at the NEWb floor? Follow the NEWblog!

The atmosphere is great on the NEWb floor! I see everyone interact more and talk more to each other. In one word: AMAZING! We’ll let’s take a look. Last week many fun and less good things happend. But everybody knows, if you fall, just shake off the dust and stand up again. I’ve definitely noticed this in our group. Let’s ditch the less good things and talk about the fun things that happened.

The launch week of the NEWbsite was great! Our team made 230 cupcakes. They looked great and as for the taste they were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, not only the cupcakes turned into orange, we did as well. My coat turned into orange and Romana had some orange in her hair. Om my god, you should have heard her when there was a tussle stuck to her cheek full of orange. It was like:''IEUWWWWWWWWWW!'' And I couldn’t do anything because I was laughing so hard. The cupcakes were a great success. Students were even begging for another cupcake, so funny. I don’t want to mention any names: Guido!

Last week everybody was a little bit more relaxed and even NEWb Network had slept well. Guys, you need your sleep so take it! Wednesday at five o’ clock I left the NEWb floor. It was a long day and I was tired. But that didn’t count for Naomi and Christel. They just went through and stayed in school and ate pizza with some SMT members. I think that if there were air mattresses with blankets that they even slept in school, really unbelievable! You have to see this picture, right down below; it’s a funny picture.

Now that we are talking about laughing, you guys need to see the quotes of Andrea from Starline Project Records on her Facebook. Om my god, those are AMAZING! Like this one: ''A man should give me the world, I only give him the municipality''. How funny is that, for some other funny quotes she collected from others and herself, check her Facebook! 

Let’s see what happened more…. Hmm…. I TOTALLY FORGOT the NEWb Borrel! That was organized by NEWb events. Most of the intern teams had a drink too much and it was very sociable. Everyone went completely out of sphere. We danced and danced and danced. Jennifer showed off a little bit of her hiphop moves with her gangster hat, and Guido did his best in ballet. If you guys want to be a professional, let me help you out of your dream, please don’t!

The party was actually finished at eight o’clock, but we continued till half past eight. We wanted to stay longer, but we were kicked out by Xander. It was a fun night and. I can’t remember the last time that I had so much fun at a drink, so I believe it was a successful evening. Thank you NEWb Events and Network!
