In The Spotlight: Trikkit Events

Last week two teams were nominated for the 'group of the week' title. Both Trikkit Events teams walked away with the prise. Same names, one goal, but two totally different assignments. This weeks interview is all about the branding and communication group behind a new and still unknowned company Trikkit Events. Let’s find out what they’ve been up to the last couple of weeks!

Daredevils
Imagine this, a brand-new company, zero content, no face, no website and no communication directions, with nothing more than only a name: Trikkit Events. An awesome assignment, because this group has been given the chance to build a company up from scratch. A big challenge, a huge responsibility, but for this NEWb team nothing they can’t handle.

Straight To Business
While the other Trikkit Events team is in charge of creating concepts for potential events, this team actually takes care of developing and implementing a brand strategy via logo design, web page design, and several print material designs to give Trikit Events a recgonizable face for their clients or consumer's. Next to that they are also working on a communication plan to get Trikkit Events on the right track as a fresh company.

Trikkit Events Members
The team exists out of six young professionals: Projectleader Steven Kraak, Assistent-Projectleader Robin Westerholt, Financial Manager Anouschka van de Kraan, Creative Manager Stephanie Kempenaar, Marketing Manager Charlotte Portielje and Communication Plan Manager Manisha Rampersad. Different personalities, but all together they make a great match.

Team Spirit
'Creative mind,' Stephanie felt it quit difficult in the beginning to set her priorities right. Like many NEWbees and other teammates, she had to pass, and still has to pass, important exams in order to get her propaedeutics, while doing NEWb at the same time. Being a perfectionist as she is, it wasn’t easy to find the right balance. Something many of us can rely to.

Honesty is a great deal for this group. Something that Robin truly appreciates because he likes to say what he thinks no matter what, in order to be himself.  Steven is a true projectleader. In the beginning he actually had to drill his teammates to get work done. It must have worked because now everybody is doing a perfect job on their task without asking!

Anouschka has a little bit of both worlds. Next to her positivity and humour, she always says what she thinks shamelessly. When she feels that someone’s off schedule, she’s definitley the first to let you know. Even when it goes at the expense of her own plan. A complete opposite is Charlotte. A very hard worker, but in a highly modest kind of way. She’s calm, more comfortable in the background, but she also knows how to stand up for what she believes.

Manisha is still kinda new to the group. She only joined the team a couple of weeks ago and so the rest of the team members are finding it hard to describe her personality and her addition to the team. It’s clear that this group doesn’t take any kind of bullshit. The way they communicate with eachother is transparent, straight forward and most of all brutally honest to keep everyone focused and the atmosphere open.

Quality Equipt
Besides the openess to eachother, they also are very critical about each other’s work. There’s a high standard they want to live up to when it come’s to their project, and they are planning to keep it like that to the very end of NEWb. They are confident that they are going to give Trikkit Events a dazzling start when it becomes to the event business, thanks to their hard work. Tips voor the next generation NEWBees: ''Don’t promise the world to your initiator, start small''. ''The faces you get when you start to do extra things for the project that weren’t planned are absolutely priceless!’’

We could not have said it better. Goodluck Trikkit Events during the final NEWb weeks!
