Awardshow

NEWb Rotterdam was out in force the 26th of January at the Moulin Rouge Award Show to celebrate the ending of our NEWb period. Hosted by Dennis Weening, the event saw 5 prestigious awards handed out throughout the evening. It truly defied all expectations when it came to the award winners. Congratulations to all!

What an awesome night we had at the NEWb Moulin Rouge Award show!  The change to bring our family, friends and initiators along to give them a quick inside up of the work we’ve done the last couple of twenty weeks. We’ve seen a lot of proud mothers and dad’s walking around smiling from ear to ear. The theme was Moulin Rouge and that could not have been more obvious. Off Corso was turned in to a real red colour 'Paris night club'.

The dress code was classy and so we saw a lot of beautiful ladies in classy dresses, and a lot of gorgeous men all dressed up in suites. The dancers of Dollart Productions were there to make the evening just a little bit sexier, and boy did they do a good job! We’ve seen a whole lot of cheeks turning red during their performance! Dennis Weening handed over the Awards to the five winning teams in of course a fabulous way. 

Five award categories, 37 NEWb groups and five ultimate winners! The categories were:
• Professionalism
• The most original product
• The most creative concept
• Best cooperation and
• Best progress

The groups that took off with an award are:
SMT – they have been rewarded with the award most professional group.
B-Social – they have been rewarded with the award best cooperation.
NEWb TV – they have been rewarded with the award the most creative concept.
Binnenstad Rotterdam –they have been rewarded with the award best progress.
C-Dance – they have been rewarded with the most original product.

As the night went on, Soul singer Yuli Minguel known from X-Factor and Idols, brought that extra soul to the table and blew us all away with her amazing powerful voice. Of course the party didn’t stopped at the end of the Moulin Rouge Awards. The absolute diehards partied their last NEWb night away during the after party! It was a successful night for the Event team, and a fantastic last NEWb night for all of us!

A big thank you to the Event Team for organizing such a great night! Once again congratulations to all the winning teams. You all deserved it! NEWb Exposure has one last thing to say: ‘All the very best with whatever comes next, we’re going to miss you guys!
