In these situations NEWb Learn- work Company is the outcome for you! With help of enthusiastic and motivated students in the field of Communication and Media & Entertainment Management you can realize qualitatively products with the fresh look of young professionals. This offers NEWb students next to valuable practical experience, also an understanding in the field of action for which they are trained.
NEWb is a Learn-Work Company of Inholland University of Applied Sciences, Domain Communication, Media and Music, located in Rotterdam. Second year students of the studies Communication, InternationalCommunication and Media & Entertainment Management work a semester (20weeks) for NEWb. The project group consists of 5 to 6 people, who together execute one large task or several small tasks within the fields of the trainings discipline. NEWb mainly executes project for external clients. Meaning that with guidance of expert instructors, students can get to work!
NEWb works within a variety of sectors:

Communication and International Communication Management:

• Media
• Design
The Learn-Work Company is an education/project form in which students work on their projects for an on average 3 to 4 days. This means that each student will dedicate approximately 28 hours a week to the project. During these days students will be working on their assignment, but will also be able to participate in various classes that are relevant for their project, workshops and master classes.
External companies and institutions often provide the projects that NEWb students will take on. In principle the costs for the NEWb projects are limited. After all we are an institution and not an official production company. The institution offers its studio and audiovisual equipment free of charge for the video productions. From clients we expect that they finance the actual realisation costs except sponsoring AV. Realisation costs include material costs for film production, image carriers such as tapes, DVD’s or printing costs. Furthermore it is possible to set up a work budget. With a work budget you will increase the possibilities for students during the project.
